Knowledge and Experience

Programming languages

During the last more than 35 years I have been writing in many different programming languages - from Fortran 4 and Basic via TenCore, Smalltalk, Pascal, C and C++ (from version 1.0) to my current favorites Java on server side and Swift for IOS and macOS. Of course they are completed by HTML and JavaScript for the web.

Frameworks

I have worked with libraries and frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap and CKEditor, Lucene, .NET, .NET Core, MS SharePoint API, but also in stock environments with Xontro.

I have written an own java web framwork 'Bandika' used for a CMS and other web based apps. It is running in Java on Linux with a PostgeSQL database.

Databases

I use SQL based database systems.
Once MS SQL, then Oracle and today preferrably PostgreSQL.

Server

Among server systems I am familiar with Linux, Windows Server and MacOS as Server (BSD).

I have worked with Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, MS IIS, MS SharePoint (from 2006) and Kestrel.
